Cakewalk

Apparently this little cakewalk of a war, that the administration lied to the american public, is going last at least 6 years. The military is planning on keeping troop levels at above 100,000 for at least 4 more years.

This even though the support for the presidents handling of the war is below 50% and has been falling further recently. Republican Chuck Hagel, as well as Democrat Russ Feingold has started to call for a definite time ta ble for withdrawing the troops. Maybe now we will get some answers as to why we are building long term bases for our military in Iraq

Come Clean

CHRIS MATTHEWS
Don’t you think it’s more serious than Watergate, when you think about it?
RNC CHAIRMAN ED GILLESPIE
I think if the allegation is true, to reveal the identity of an undercover CIA operative—it’s abhorrent, and it should be a crime, and it is a crime.
CHRIS MATTHEWS
It’d be worse than Watergate, wouldn’t it?
GILLESPIE
It’s—Yeah, I suppose in terms of the real world implications of it. It’s not just politics

Gov. Dean:This is bigger than politics - every American should agree that this administration needs to come clean immediately about this leak, and any White House official’s role in it. The only way to pressure this administration is to show that Americans will not tolerate this - and that every American regardless of party will unite and publicly demand that they come clean: Come Clean Petition
