Books have arrived
They just wheeled the books past so we can know sit in line again waiting for our chance to purchase a book.
It just works
11:20 at night, I’m sitting up in the cafe of Borders waiting for Harry Potter to go on sale. A small girl, probably 5 or 6 looks at me, looks at my computer and tells me “We have the same computer. If you put a movie in it it just works.” She then walks off into the crowd.

Olivander's delivery service
After Professor Lupin checked in two underage wizards at 12 grimauld place, with the instructions not to step foot outside. I quickly changed robes to become a wand delivery service and rode off into the night to deliver a repaired wand to the other underage wizard. At that point Kingsley Shacklebolt was off duty, so headed to Hogsmeade. Arriving there he had a pint of Madame Rosmearta’s finest ale.
In other words
Keigan and his friend rode their bikes with me to Borders, where I turned around and delivered the wand that Caden left at home to him at Barnes & Noble. After which I returned to Borders, stood in line for an hour and bought a cup of coffee, while keigan wandered around enjoying the magic of being in the bookstore till midnight.
This is the second time Keigan and I have gone to wait for a books release at midnight, the first being 3 years ago while living in Zeandale.
The amount of time alloted each person to read the book has already been a topic of fierce discussion within the house. The previous arrangement of youngest reader has been rejected by Keigan now that his brother is interested in reading as well. Sarieah came up with the idea of even/odds tied into birthdays, which seems to be what’s been decided, although Keigan is slightly upset that he has evens and the book will arrive on an odd day.
