Don't forget the index!
I ran into this issue several days ago, as well as had a re-occurence tonight as I was recreating a web site. IIS doesn’t include index.aspx within its default configuration for new web sites. I started to debug the site and was greeted with a 403 error, which shouldn’t happen when browsing a site that is to have anonymous access. I verified that anonymous access was checked, then I ran down the directory structure making sure I had permissions to all the directories, seemed odd as the site was set up within my user files.
When I still couldn’t find the issue I started looking through the files for default.aspx, the typical starting point. Not finding that the proverbial light-bulb went off above my head and it was a quick fix from there.

The first time indicates when we arrived at the field, walking through the turnstiles just as they finished the national anthem. The second time indicates when the game turned into a typical baseball game, in which the parents try to question the kids devotion to sticking it out, and the kids try and wheedle as much junk food out of the parents as possible.
The second batter for the Ems hit a solo home run, with a couple of doubles thrown into the first inning to place the Ems up, 4-0. Each team scored once in the 6th inning and Boise scored again in the 7th inning to end the game 5 – 2.
